Acceptable Use Policy

This policy applies to everything you do with Reelsomat: prompts, topics and scripts you enter, files you upload, characters and voices you create, videos you generate, and anything published through the dashboard, autopilot or the API. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

It also applies to attempts: asking the service to produce prohibited content breaks this policy even if our filters stop it. The rules of the platforms you publish to (and of our AI providers) apply on top of this policy.

Don't use Reelsomat to create, publish or promote anything illegal where you or your audience are, or to help anyone break the law.

Zero tolerance for harm to children. Never create or attempt to create child sexual abuse material, or any content that sexualises, grooms, exploits or endangers minors, including fictional, drawn or AI-generated depictions. We close accounts immediately, preserve relevant information and report to the appropriate authorities (such as the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children or national law enforcement).

Don't upload images, clips or voice recordings of anyone who is, or may be, under 18 to make a character or cloned voice.

• No non-consensual intimate imagery. Never create sexual, nude or intimate content of a real person, and never use a real person's likeness in sexual content.
• No deepfakes without consent. Don't make a real person appear to say or do something (by face, voice, lip sync or otherwise) without their clear permission. Photo/clip characters and cloned voices are only for yourself or people who gave you written permission (see Terms: real people).
• No impersonation. Don't pretend to be another person, brand or organisation, or use a Cast host or AI voice to suggest a real person is speaking or endorsing something.
• No public figures. Don't use the face or voice of celebrities, politicians or other public figures, even with a parody label.
• No identifying people. Don't use Reelsomat to identify, track or profile people from their face, voice or other features.

• No deceptive political or election content: fake statements by candidates or officials, false information about how, when or where to vote, or content designed to suppress participation.
• No fabricated news, events or evidence presented as real, such as fake disasters, attacks, arrests or quotes.
• No dangerous misinformation, for example false medical or health claims that could lead to harm.
• No mass-produced misleading content: networks of near-identical videos, fake reviews or testimonials, clickbait that misrepresents what a video contains, or content that manipulates platform metrics.

• Don't pass off AI-generated footage, voices or people as real recordings, or present AI-made work as made by humans, where that would mislead viewers about something that matters.
• Follow each platform's AI-disclosure rules. Don't switch off or remove AI labels, disclosures, watermarks or provenance information when doing so would mislead.
• Don't remove or tamper with the inaudible watermarks in music library tracks.

• No content that attacks, demeans or incites hatred or violence against people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, caste, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age or similar characteristics.
• No harassment, bullying, threats, doxxing or content that targets a private individual.
• No defamation: false statements of fact that damage someone's reputation.
• No content that promotes, glorifies or supports terrorism or violent extremism, or graphic violence for its own sake.
• No content that encourages or instructs suicide, self-harm or eating disorders.
• No sexually explicit content.

• No scams, phishing, fake giveaways, pyramid schemes, or misleading financial, investment or “get rich quick” claims.
• No content promoting illegal goods or services, or regulated goods (such as weapons, drugs or gambling) where that breaks the law or platform rules.
• No spam: repetitive or low-value uploads at scale, misleading titles, tags or thumbnails, or engagement manipulation.

Don't upload or generate content that infringes copyright, trade marks or other rights, for example other people's videos, music, artwork or logos you don't have permission to use, or prompts asking for copyrighted characters or a living artist's exact style for commercial copying. • Don't try to bypass safety filters, moderation, consent checks, plan limits or rate limits, including through prompt injection, jailbreaks, or splitting requests across accounts.
• Don't share accounts or API keys, resell or sublicense access, or offer Reelsomat as part of another service without our written agreement.
• Don't scrape the service, reverse engineer it (except where the law allows), or use it or its output to build a competing product or to train AI models.
• Don't upload malware, probe or attack our systems or providers, or interfere with other users.
• Report security issues to hello@reelsomat.com rather than exploiting them.

We use automated checks and human review. Depending on how serious and repeated a breach is, we may:

• block a prompt, upload or generation, or reject a character or cloned voice;
• unpublish or delete videos we created or uploaded;
• pause autopilot or limit features;
• suspend or close the account, without a refund of unused allowances; and
• report illegal content or activity to the authorities or affected platforms.

If you see content made with Reelsomat that breaks this policy, or that uses your face or voice without permission, email hello@reelsomat.com with a link or description and why it concerns you. We review every report. For content on YouTube, Instagram or other platforms, please also use the platform's own reporting tools, as the platform controls what stays up there.
